Britney Spears has confirmed that her new single is indeed called "Hold It Against Me." The Pop star confirmed the title on Twitter yesterday, and also confirmed that the song will debut at radio next Tuesday, January 11. Spears referenced a leak of an early demo version of "Hold It Against Me," saying, "Heard an early demo of my new single leaked. If u think that's good, wait til you hear the real one Tuesday." Spears also revealed the single artwork (seen to the right) for the track, which is the first taste of her as-yet-untitled new album, due out in March.

Next Tuesday will also bring the first song from Kanye West & Jay-Z's anticipated new record, Watch The Throne. West tweeted last night "1.11.11" along with the single artwork for the song "H.A.M." West recently said on stage that Watch The Throne would be out in a week, but it was later determined he likely meant the single.

Eminem is reportedly in the running for a new film role, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Em would star in Random Acts Of Violence, a 20th Century Fox production about an ex-con being recruited as an FBI informant. Since the success of his comeback to the music world, there have been rumors that Eminem would return to acting as well.

Earlier this week, Mike D. of the Beastie Boys told the BBC that the trio's 2011 touring plans would depend on the health of Adam "MCA" Yauch, who is recovering from treatment for throat cancer. While Mike D said that his bandmates are "really happy" about Yauch's health, a number of outlets reported that Mike told the BBC that Yauch was now "cancer free." However, a rep for the Beasties clarified to Billboard that "Mike did not say that."

According to Justin Bieber's manager Scooter Braun, the teen Pop star is hoping to collaborate with a number of superstars for his next record. Braun said in a chat room conversation with fans on Tuesday that Bieber has been talking to Drake about recording together. MTV News reports that Braun said Kanye West is interested in producing tracks for Bieber, and that he has also discussed collaborating with Rascal Flatts and Chris Brown as well.

A six pack of Linkin Park's hits will be released next Tuesday for Rock Band's download store. "Crawling," "In The End," "Numb," "Somewhere I Belong," "Waiting For The End" and "What I've Done" will be downloadable for the Xbox 360, Wii and PlayStation 3.

Chevelle will release a live CD/DVD, Any Last Words?, next Tuesday, January 11. The set captures the band's two-night performance in their hometown of Chicago last October, celebrating their tenth anniversary.

CNN reports that the death of Notorious B.I.G. (aka Christopher Wallace) is being investigated once again. According to CNN, "a task force made up of local and federal law enforcement agencies is actively pursuing leads" into the rapper's 1997 murder, according to multiple sources. The case was "reinvigorated" recently due to new information.

Aretha Franklin has told JET magazine that her recent health problem "has been resolved." The Queen Of Soul underwent an undisclosed medical procedure last month and told the magazine, ""I am not one to do a lot of talking about my personal health or business. I don't have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors. The problem has been resolved." She added, "I know my fans are concerned. Let them know I am feeling great and coming along."
