| Britney Spears Conservatorship to End - Transworld News Posted: 04 Oct 2010 11:43 AM PDT Britney Spears' conservatorship will reportedly end within the next three months. A source close to Spears tells RadarOnline.com that the troubled pop star has made "tremendous progress" in working through her problems. "Britney has made tremendous progress in the past three to four months. She seems to be firmly in control again," the source says. Spears and her lawyer met with Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz last Thursday. "Judge Goetz needed to meet with Britney and talk to her face-to-face, to see how she was doing," adds the insider. "It's one thing to read medical reports about her, but the in-person meeting was very important." Spears' father Jamie was granted a conservatorship over her in February 2008 after she was hospitalized in the UCLA Neuropsychiatric Institute. Spears next hearing is set for October 14. ### Click here for more Entertainment News About WooEB WooEB Community is a business, music and social networking community. Telepictures Productions said Thursday that it has signed Cooper for a talk show that will cover social trends, entertainment and human interest topics. With Oprah Winfrey ending her syndicated talk show, companies in that market have been looking for new daytime personalities who will connect with an audience. Meanwhile, CNN said Cooper has signed a multiyear contract extension for "Anderson Cooper 360." Cooper called the daytime deal "an exciting opportunity to show another side of myself." No change for Spears Britney Spears has met with a judge overseeing her conservatorship, but no changes are being made. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Reva Goetz also met Thursday with the singer's father, Jamie, who retains control with attorneys over his daughter's personal and financial affairs. Wearing a black dress and black boots, Spears was ushered into the judge's chambers by deputies. Goetz later said in open court, "We had a very nice conversation." She then said no changes were being made to the 28-year-old singer's conservatorship, which was established in February 2008 after Spears was involved in several high-profile incidents of erratic behavior.
