| Lady Gaga will ‘tweet-topple’ Britney Spears in no time - Entertainment and Showbiz! Posted: 22 Aug 2010 12:38 AM PDT Lady Gaga is the queen of the social media and she is soon to usurp Britney Spear's place as the most followed twitter user. FameCount has informed that 5,646,028 is Spear's current follower number, with Gaga close at heels with 5,635,460 followers. But another statistics show that she may soon soar past Spears as Gaga has netted around 600,000 new followers this month, while Spears pulled in about 200,000. Gaga also boasts of more than 16 million Facebook fans and 330,000 YouTube subscribers. Her Bad Romance, however, is still second in terms of the most watched YouTube clip with 264,533,336 hits. Bieber's Baby is the frontrunner there with 292,285,435 at press time. In other Lady Gaga news, the singer earned a bad name last Sunday night when someone from her entourage broke into an Elvis Presley vigil and made disparage comments on The King. The members of the Elvis fan club weren't going to take it lying down either and heated words flew. Reportedly it all started when Viva Las Vegas Elvis Fan Club members held an Elvis vigil during a ceremony in front of an Elvis statue in the Hilton hotel's valet area. | Britney Spears Photos on GLEE - Daemon's TV Posted: 22 Aug 2010 12:02 AM PDT
Check out backstage photos of Britney Spears on the set of GLEE for the "Britney Britney" episode airing Tuesday, Sept. 28 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. In the photos, Spear is posing with Heather Morris and Co-Creator/Executive Producer Ryan Murphy. Earlier this week, we had previously announced Britney Spears as a guest star in Glee. Show creator Ryan Murphy said that the episode would "reverential… and so kind… We are handling Britney with kid gloves." As a reminder, this is not the first occasion Glee has done an entire episode to a singer's work. Both Madonna and Lady Gaga have already gotten the treatment, but it is the first time the singer in question, in this case Britney Spears, will appear on the show. Glee's second season premieres on FOX Tuesday September 21 at 8pm/7 central. You can check all of the fall's premiere dates and times here. | Britney Spears Gets Clean Up Order From Boyfriend Jason Trawick, Tweets Glee Photo - National Ledger Posted: 21 Aug 2010 11:02 AM PDT Jason Trawick is Britney Spear's boyfriend and a report has claimed that he recently told her to change her dirty clothes, wash her hair and get some better habits when it comes to cleanliness. Ouch! On the positive side and her boyfriend's alleged comments aside, Britney still cleans up quite nicely. This week, the still adorable pop star and mother of two presented her Twitter followers with a sneak preview of her upcoming guest-appearance on the Glee episode. The episode will be devoted to her hits – and she showed off by posting an on-set photo of herself on the social networking site. *** The pop princess tweeted the snap of herself wearing glasses and sporting long hair extensions on the McKinley High set with her assistant Brett. Spears tweeted: "What's up GLEEKS? Having so much fun on set! Can't wait for you guys to see the episode!" *** Show co-creator Ryan Murphy has confirmed that the episode will be based around the Glee cast going to the dentist where, after being anaesthetised, they have "fantasies" and hallucinate about Spears. Murphy has promised the episode will be "so reverential" about the Toxic singer and will not refer to the troubles she has faced in her private life. He said: "It's about her music and it's not about her personal life."
