Britney Spears has secured her place at the top of the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 after breaking records with her new track Hold It Against Me.

The pop superstar garnered the highest number of U.S. radio plays ever in one day when she debuted the song last week, and she has gone on to score her fourth number one single in America.

Spears sold over 411,000 downloads of the track in the week since its release - the highest ever for a female artist, breaking the record of 325,000 digital sales set by Taylor Swift's Today Was A Fairytale last year.

Hold It Against Me came in at number one, followed by Bruno Mars' Grenade at two and Katy Perry's Firework at three.

The top five is rounded out by Rihanna and Drake with What's My Name? and Wiz Khalifa's Black And Yellow.

Britney Spears Auctions Dress For Charity, Umbrella Not Included - Ecorazzi.com

Posted: 20 Jan 2011 01:21 PM PST

Ever wanted to rip the clothes right off of Britney Spears?

Well, now you can! The sometimes-sane crooner is holding a charity auction that offers fans the chance to own the gown she wore in the print ads for her fragrance, Radiance (which, admittedly, is not so green).

But nonetheless it's all for a very good cause! Proceeds from the sale of the silver backless dress will go to benefit The Matthew Van Daff Special Needs Trust, a charity set up to raise money for the treatment of Matthew, a little boy born with a brain injury.

Apparently, Spears is close friends with Matthew's parents and decided that she could help in his care and treatment, which requires round-the-clock care.

On Spears' Twitter page, her assistant wrote, "Such a great cause. Brit donated her dress from the Radiance ad to our friend David, who started a trust for his son with a brain injury."

So, if you're interested in having a little piece of Brit, you can go to ebay and place your bid (which is currently at $6,300)*.

*We cannot guarantee that Spears won't stab you with an umbrella if you win said auction.
