Disney Asks Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake To Mentor Child Stars - 411mania.com Posted: 20 Dec 2010 03:38 PM PST Disney Asks Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake To Mentor Child Stars Posted by Jeremy Thomas on 12.20.2010 Company looking for guidance counseling from former Mousketeers… Following the very public meltdown of Demi Lovato that occurred recently, Disney has decided to get some of their old stars who have hit it big to provide some mentoring. The company has asked former Mousketeers Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake to speak to their child stars and give them some perspective as well as be role models. "Justin and Britney have been asked if they would like to come in and speak to their younger counterparts about the tribulations of being famous so young," says a source. "The Disney bosses think that if they have people to look up to they might stay on the straight and narrow." Really?!?! Posted By: Dakota (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 07:52 PM     It's painful how pathetic asking Britney to mentor anyone is. Posted By: Guest#4636 (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 07:54 PM     I know Britney and Justin were Disney stars in the past, but what about Fergie? She was the original Disney Channel star, so they might as well give her an offer as well. Posted By: radman (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 08:12 PM     Mentor?!? Britney Spears had a 55-hour marriage and they want her to be a mentor?!? really... REALLY?? Posted By: The Miz (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 09:08 PM     I can see how Brittany might be of use, because she can tell the youngsters the traps and perils that she fell into. But it's still a pretty bad idea. Posted By: Michael L (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 09:24 PM     Well Lindsay Lohan is busy she's in Rehab... Why didn't they ask Christina? Posted By: TheRev (Guest) on December 20, 2010 at 09:39 PM     Justin would be ok, Brit??? No!!! Christina would be a much better choice, and I'm sure she has plenty of free time since her latest album flopped. Britney Spears Was The Inspiration For Gwyneth Paltrow’s Character In Country Strong - 411mania.com Posted: 18 Dec 2010 01:39 PM PST Britney Spears Was The Inspiration For Gwyneth Paltrow's Character In Country Strong Posted by Larry Csonka on 12.18.2010 According to the director… According to director/writer Shana Feste, Britney Spears was the inspiration for Gwyneth Paltrow's character in Gwyneth Paltrow's. In the film, Paltrow plays a country singer who's a struggling addict. Feste said when she was writing for the character, she used Britney's public meltdown as inspiration to show how the media lifts bright, young, talented stars, only to bring them down and destroy them. "That's where this movie came from. I mean, I was seeing what was happening in the media to Britney Spears. I finished the script when Michael Jackson passed away. I think it's tragic how we treat people who give us so much, and we love to see them knocked down to build them back up again, to knock them down again. It's a weird fascination."
