Brit thinks civil trial would reveal private info about her...

Britney Spears' people are asking a judge to protect her from a "shake down" by a former bodyguard - that Fernando Flores guy who says Brit sexually harassed him and beat her children.

Flores wants to take Britney to civil court, but Britney's people think he'll just use the public trial to reveal private information about her. Brit's legal team are petitioning to have the case taken to probate court, where anything revealed during the trial would be private.

The conservators worry "there is a real possibility that Ms. Spears will be exposed to danger by the release of confidential and personal information."

A judge will decide how to move forward at the end of the month.

Britney Spears' Millions Given To New Money Managers - Post Chronicle

Posted: 18 Oct 2010 06:18 AM PDT

Britney Spears' conservators want her money to start working for her - they've handed "several million dollars" belonging to the pop star over to financial advisors for investment.

Spears' guardians have received court permission to give control of an unspecified sum to financial experts at Merrill Lynch and Ubs Financial Services, acording to documents filed at Los Angeles County Superior Court.

And they're hoping the experts will find lucrative new ventures for Spears' money, which was previously being held in a trust account, reports Tmz.com. (c) WENN
