There is buzz on the internet that Britney Spears is set to release a new album by Spring of 2011! Even though it's just a rumor and Britney Spears hasn't confirmed anything yet, her new album is said to be well underway.

The Celebrity Cafe states that Britney Spears has already recorded three songs for her new album. The as yet unnamed new album will be the seventh original album for Britney Spears.

TMZ wrote that Britney Spears "loves" the three songs and is eager to get more recordings done. Britney also received a lot of praise for her recent guest role on "Glee." Because of the praise, Spears has received more offers for TV guest appearances.

ACE ShowBiz reports that word of Britney Spears' new album was leaked by Robin Leach when Leach tweeted, "Larry Rudolph @Palms tells me [Britney Spears] reached halfway point recording new album for Spring release sez (sic) it's fantastic."

Even though Britney Spears hasn't issued a statement about when she will release her new album (or even if she is working on a new album), Spears' fans are eagerly awaiting her new tunes! Britney really seems to have gotten her life in order since she shaved her head and showed off her crotch. Good for her! Let's hope it was temporary insanity in her past and not temporary sanity in her present.

Did Britney Spears get new tattoos in her neck, or are they fake?

According to the New York Daily News, Britney Spears has added to her already large collection of tattoos -- or did she?

The pop princess was sporting colorful images of butterflies, or maybe flowers, on her neck while out shopping with her boyfriend, Jason Trawick.

The two were shopping at Toys 'R' Us in Woodland Hills, California on Saturday when the mysterious new tattoos were spotted.

The new neck tattoos are debatable to be temporary, as her son Jayden was sporting fake tattoos, also on his neck, last week.

Spears' publicist has yet to respond to questions of whether or not Spears has inked herself yet again.
