Britney Spears’s Manager Shoots Down New Music Rumors - TV.com

Posted: 04 Aug 2010 04:01 PM PDT

Earlier this week, Rodney Darkchild Jerkins teased that Britney Spears fans would be "so happy" in "a few weeks" leading folks to believe that he knew about the release of possible new music from our dear Britney. Yesterday afternoon, Britney's manager Adam Leber shot down all rumors that Britney was about to release new music in a few weeks … here is what he had to say:

No new music news right now….Wish people wouldn't mislead you guys with BS info. Not cool! / PS- The guys that ARE working on Brit's next album ARE NOT talking about it… / Brit has a new mag cover & spread coming out in the next month or so which is going to be SICK! Will let Brit reveal the details herself / Stay tuned….

Well boo. I know a great many people, me included, were really looking forward to new music from Britney … I guess we'll just have to wait a little longer.

As for Britney, she spent part of her day doing a bit of shopping and looking as cute as ever. After the jump, check out a few photos of Britney doing her thang yesterday afternoon …

Aww … she looks great! I always get a gumball from these bubblegum machines when I visit the Westfield Mall here in SoCal, tho I rarely look as good as Britney does in these pics ;) Ah well, we'll have to wait a bit longer for new music but I know it'll be worth the wait.

World renowned choreographer Wade Robson is part of the Michael Jackson dance legacy - Examiner

Posted: 31 Jul 2010 08:16 PM PDT

Michael Jackson changed the world and, more personally, my life forever. He is the reason I dance, the reason I make music, and one of the main reasons I believe in the pure goodness of human kind. He has been a close friend of mine for 20 years. His music, his movement, his personal words of inspiration and encouragement and his unconditional love will live inside of me forever. I will miss him immeasurably, but I know that he is now at peace and enchanting the heavens with a melody and a moonwalk.

I love you Michael."

--Wade Robson

At age 3, Robson was memorizing dance steps from Michael Jackson's "Thriller" video. During Jackson's 1987 Australian tour, Michael met then five-year-old Wade Robson. Jackson was impressed with his dancing and invited him to perform at his concert in Brisbane. Later he helped Robson, his mother and sister to move to the U.S. Robson performed in Jackson's "Black or White," "Jam" and "Heal the World" videos.

At the age of 12, Robson was offered a faculty position at Millennium Dance after teaching four advanced level classes a week. The students were clamoring to get into his classes to learn his original moves. At age 16, Robson directed and choreographed Britney Spear's show. He remixed the music, designed the stage, directed video segments and with relentless detail and perfectionism he choreographed it.

Now at age 26, Robson is a world-renowned choreographer working with talents like Britney Spears, Usher, *N Sync and Pink. He recently choreographed Cirque du Soleil/Criss Angel's "Believe" at the Las Vegas Luxor. Robson is described as a dance genius. He's mercurial, gifted and dances outside the box. In fact he leaps over it. Watching his work takes you out of this world and into one of creative imagination and exploration. Sometimes his pieces are dark and moody and other times uplifting and humorous. But they always have unexpected original elements, musicality and evoke emotion.

One of Robson's most recognizable dance pieces came from "So You Think You Can Dance" Season 3. Contemporary dancer Jamie Goodwin and Japanese hip-hop breakdancer Hok Konishi performed the love story entitled "Hummingbird and Flower." The music by composer John Williams entitled "Chairman's Waltz" came from the movie soundtrack "Memoirs of a Geisha." He and his wife, Amanda Robson, conceptualized the number and designed the costumes. Robson was the choreographer and director. This moody and beautiful creation gave Robson his second Emmy.

Wade Robson was inspired and influenced by Michael Jackson. He is part of Jackson's legacy. Robson is currently teaching classes through The Pulse and Broadway Dance Center. This is the Pulse's 9th Annual Teacher's Workshop. The list of Who's Who choreographers include:
Mia Michaels, Brian Friedman, Cris Judd, Dave Scott, Laurieann Gibson, Shane Sparks, Tyce Diorio and Gil Duldulao. Cities on their tour dates include: Orlando, Chicago, Las Vegas, St. Louis, Dallas, Atlantic City, Biloxi, Toronto, San Francisco, Phoenix, Denver and Atlanta.
